There are two types of firmware available for ratgdo: ESP Home or HomeKit.
- ESP Home: Allows your ratgdo to communicate seamlessly with virtually any home automation platform, such as Home Assistant or NodeRED.
- HomeKit: Allows your ratgdo to appear as a Garage Door in your Apple HomeKit environment without any additional fuss.
Your ratgdo comes factory programmed with a basic startup firmware which blinks the blue LED. This firmware is used as part of our QA process and also enables ESP Home to be installed to your ratgdo wirelessly.
